Cathy MacLean, a 1975 Kemptville grad, will be inducted into the Glengarry Sports Hall of fame this month. When Cathy was in her late 40s she began to run consistently and participate in local road races. Locals can set their clocks by Cathy’s run schedule as she completes her year round training.Cathy qualified to run the Boston Marathon in 2006 and has completed that race 10 times. She will once again compete in 2020. Cathy will continue to run and perhaps in the future she would like to train for a triathlon.Congratulations and we wish her the best of luck.Bruce McDonell, a ‘69 grad will also be attending the dinner to watch his son Kent be inducted.Kent signed his first professional contract in 2000 and later played in the Swedish Hockey League.
